Daniel Craig, Liev Chreiber and Jamie Bell were not believable as Polish Jews at all, their accents were strange and they simply did not fit in with the rest of the cast especially Daniel Craig, a blonde haired blue eyed man playing the role of a natural born Jew? he looks NOTHING like the man he is supposed to be representing. This made the film very cringey and hard to bare at times. The cinematography was also very strange, the film looks like it had a filter applied to it or something because the lighting didn't look natural at all. Like someone turned up the saturation or simply fucked around with the levels. The drama itself was decent, and if you ignore the awkward accents the acting from the main cast was actually pretty good. But in the end, the epilogue screen was more interesting than the entire movie itself.

always trying to show them as poor people

Given there's a blatantly racist comment even with the false visual portrait of all of these people as blue eyes just is sickening. While the movie was good overall, blue eyed, anglo saxon is not Belorussian or Jewish. Eastern European Jews look just like all other Eastern Europeans. Mostly olive skin tones and brown eyes with rare exceptions. These brothers in real life all had the dark brown eyes, deep olive hues and strong eastern European features. I was pretty sure that was the case, but at the end once they showed the photos, it was like WTF. Every movie made doesn't need some blonde haired blue eyed depiction, and especially not when it's so overdone in fiction, do. we really need it in actual historical content. And, they went to such trouble to really give an accurate depiction otherwise. Enough with the great white hype already. Would've been a 9 or 10 if the actors and actresses that were chosen didn't insist on that over whiting and bluing, but that was their choice. 6. Next time at least make your great white hype actors wear brown contacts.
