This movie convinced me that all I need to be happy is the love of a good Minnesotan woman.

I tuned in for the music and Hugh Jackman's singing, but this movie had so much more to offer. At its heart is a beautiful story about family, love, and overcoming challenges.

"Play free bird!" Hugh Jackman as a cheesy cornball + Kate Hudson as a ray of sunshine = 😭😭😭😭 This was exactly what I needed tonight. Is it just me, or does Ella Anderson look exactly like Taylor Tomlinson? Edit: THAT'S KING PRINCESS?? I HAD NO IDEA

It's a shame such a delightful film like this didn't have more exposure upon its release. A heartwarming story with its inevitable ups and downs and very good performances from Jackman and Hudson.

you'll hear about this movie, see it advertised, read what it's about, and think: nah, that's not for me. but trust me, it is! i'm not usually a fan of hugh jackman or kate hudson but boyyy did they hit this outa the park! kudos to everyone involved because the film has neil diamond running all the way through it - in sentiment not just in song - it has his compassion, his strength, his joy and energy in each and every scene. a legendary man who inspired a legendary duo. 10/10 no notes, except to say THANK U for putting some respect on soolaimon's name!
