Imagine you're watching Sharknado but instead of sharks you're dealing with a killer pumpkin

>*"Come and get me you autumn asshole!" "You can't even microwave a pizza pocket."* An extended *Goosebumps* episode. It does it's job as a dumb fun killer pumpkin movie and the monster has some screen presence. A pumpkin on a killing spree getting vengeance for it's dead pumpkin friends is exactly the kind of sillyness I want in a movie like this. Filled with Halloween spirit, a bunch of funny one-liners, decent CGI for the budget, and the practical effects look nice. The characters are funny but empty and the acting is poor. Nice to see DJ Qualls. The runtime felt a bit long and repetitive. The kills are alright but I had expectations that they would use the carving theme more, I kept waiting for the pumpkin to empty a human's fillings the way we do pumpkins but it only happened briefly. Missed opportunity. Love the final shot of the movie though.

Personally, I didn't understand either my comedy or my fear. I noticed something, for example, these holidays and special events are close to New Year's Eve or Halloween, and the movies that come out at that time are really of poor quality. This movie is ridiculous. The interesting thing is, has no one ever said what are we doing? Don't watch it, it's a pity for your time.

The premise had some potential for a fun horror splatter, but sadly, this barely makes it into "watchable" territory. Most of it is just dull and forgettable, but I found some entertainment value, and if you shut your brain off, you might get something out of it too. And well, it's not every day you get to see a pumpkin's POV. So there's that.
