Watchmen II ends on a high note by questioning the dangers of giving too much power to one person, pointing out flaws in the system, and asking if it's ever right to lie or harm others for the "greater good." It asks us to think about morality, justice, and whether peace built on sacrifice and deception can ever truly last. None of you understand. I'm not locked up in here with you. Very faithful to the original source material, great voice acting and definitely a treat for comic readers! Thoroughly enjoyed, and although I watched part 1 months ago and have a hazy memory of it, I'll definitely rewatch this in the future and it will be a far better experience with both parts out at once. Have fun!
Very good story DC always does a good job on the animated side not gon lie
I've already forgotten what happened in the first chapter so it would have been nice to include callbacks. The live-action version seems even better now that I've seen 2 of these. I expected this to be worthwhile as it requires a mature audience. Unfortunately, it lacks in animation and storytelling more than the first. Most of the runtime is slow and pointless character-building with about 10 minutes worth of obliviously flat plot points. I got tired of hearing the same overcomplicated, monotone dialogue with underwhelming results. The clearly unappreciated score needed to be used more. Is that it?
