Happy to have watched this on the plane over to Japan. Part of me was giggling because so much of this was scripted like the dream of a 12-year-old boy, but that is its charm! Haru is pure escapism, from the antics he pulls at a poker tournament to the over-the-top action/fighting scenes (he jumps off not one, but two balconies!) and it's a fun side to Meguro Ren I don't see enough of. There are many twists, a lot doesn't really pass any logical tests, but they managed to pack in a lot, so I was never bored, and that's what you want in this popcorn movie
