Episodenfilm von dem japanischen Meisterregisseur Akira Kurosawa aus dem Jahr 1990. Der Film schildert acht Träume, die auf tatsächlichen Träumen des Regisseurs basieren. Die farbenprächtigen Träume thematisieren das Leben und den Tod. Sie handeln u.a. von Kindheitserinnerungen, einem Reaktorunfall und einer Begegnung mit dem Maler Vincent van Gogh, verkörpert von US-Regisseur Martin Scorsese.

This movie is like a poem. Wonderful cinematography, the movie is simply beautiful. The dreams are weird in a good way. Great movie

I wish my dreams were as chill as these. Instead, I have dreams about drinking glass, vaping nose hairs, piss pot monsters, convincing entire villages to throw all of the beach into the ocean, timelord spiders, and not being able to type poop transplant because my autocorrect hates me and wants to me say PSP painting
