[Veoasecan] Through the sobriety of the image, a grey tone in most of the scenes and many night sequences, the director once again approaches social reality through the eyes of a female protagonist. But this story feels less profound than his previous film, too hampered precisely by its tone. There are good performances and an element of escape, a emotional connection to which the title refers but which seems less transcendental than it pretends to be. The result is a portrait of loneliness that ends up being too fragile.
