[Fantasia '24] A story full of sensitivity that achieves a high degree of expressiveness in the protagonists, even though one of them has part of his face erased, highly influenced by the animated forays of Richard Linklater, with which it shares a certain texture in the use of rotoscoping. The film uses elements of the science-fiction genre, which are designed in a different style, to delve into the mind of the protagonist. But it introduces a positive perspective regarding the need to be surrounded by emotional support to overcome trauma, which distances it from a simple sentimental drama to provide a much more hopeful message: the way in which the environment is essential to recover one's own voice and nurture the value of sharing traumatic experiences.
