It just keeps leaning into its steam-and-gaze formula, and by now that’s both its strength and limitation. The chemistry between the leads is still magnetic enough to carry most scenes, and the emotional beats land better than expected when it actually slows down. But the plot feels like déjà vu with cosmetic changes, the conflicts get louder without getting deeper, and the pacing stays tied to romance-soap dramatics instead of real stakes. It’s polished and easy to watch, just not particularly substantial.

The close of the trilogy and, honestly, thank god. They try to give it a more mature tone, but fall back into the same "can't live with you, can't live without you" dynamics that are tiring. The chlorine allergy plot comes back for the final climax and [SPOILER] the pool rescue scene is so dramatic it's kind of funny. Was that really the big proof of love? [/SPOILER]

The story takes place a year after a passionate romance between Raquel and Ares, which ended because they couldn’t reconcile their desires with the expectations of their families. Despite their official breakup, both still carry deep feelings for each other. Events unfold as Raquel and Ares return to the same house with their families to spend the Christmas holiday in Barcelona, Spain. Both arrive with new partners… but can the power of love reunite them? The film is good, with a predictable ending for a romantic drama. The acting is excellent for the most part, especially in the second half. Personally, I didn’t feel fully engaged with the film—especially when it came to the new relationships. However, the chemistry between Raquel and Ares is exceptional. The film lacked many elements, especially in the first half, where several new characters were introduced without proper background. Still, it’s an enjoyable movie for a cozy night in. Age Rating: 18+ Film Rating: 6/10

The second movie in the series was mediocre but this was a really strong movie, I enjoyed it a lot and think that overall it managed to redeem the whole series. I just hope they don't ruin it with a fourth movie.
