Hilfe.

This is a movie with a powerful message worth telling, but it’s a bit of a mess getting there. Some great acting from the leads and a solid ending carry it to a solid rating and worth a watch.
Unfortunate timing in that I watched this just as the US Govt had dismantled so many services for it's returned services It's not a comedy, its a drama about the struggle of returning to civilian life
While the movie has a great message and the acting is good, is is a bit of a slog through the middle of the movie. follow me at https://IHATEBadMOvies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
My Dead Friend Zoe balances ghostly humour with grounded explorations of PTSD and family. Sonequa Martin-Green shines as a veteran haunted by both memory and loss, supported by heavyweights Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris. While the story meanders and its resolution is predictable, its emotional honesty and performances make it a heartfelt, if uneven, portrait of healing.
Abit one dimensional, wanted to see more about how their relationship broke down after coming back to the states.
