I don’t care what anyone says I absolutely enjoyed this movie. Varun Dhawan killed his role and I cried multiple times throughout. The plot is confusing at first but it all connects and it had very good messages. The random Salman Khan cameo at the end was weird though, made the ending feel less sincere.
loved how the trafficked girls all teamed up to take down Nanaji but his demise was kind of badass I can’t lie.
ON and OFF at moments. Action seems great at some moments but some cliche avarage moments too. The BGM was superb. Thaman did some fantastic job for that. I can watch once it once for the music and for the fact that Varun Dhawan tried something, sadly it was a remake. A remake of Atlee's Theri that strips out everything that made Theri work. And the film runs far longer than it needs to. Varun tries but the material doesn't give him the space Vijay had in the original.
Baby John is a missed opportunity, despite Varun Dhawan's earnest effort and Keerthy Suresh's charming debut, as it falls short due to a bloated narrative, forced humor, and clichéd tropes. Varun Dhawan's *Baby John* attempts to deliver a typical South Indian masala film experience but ultimately falls short. Despite Dhawan's earnest effort, the film's pacing and forced humor feel exhausting, failing to resonate with the Hindi audience. The screenplay, reminiscent of the original *Theri*, lacks coherence and depth, making it a bloated 164-minute ordeal. Keerthy Suresh shines in her Hindi debut, bringing charm to her role, while Thaman's music and score elevate some scenes. However, the rapid-fire storytelling and clichéd tropes detract from emotional engagement, leaving viewers detached from the characters. The film's attempt at humor often lands flat, with moments that should evoke laughter instead feeling out of place. Overall, *Baby John* is a missed opportunity, showcasing Dhawan's potential as an action star but ultimately failing to capture the essence of its source material. Instagram: @streamgenx
