The premise and general theme was promising but man did it drag at points. I wish it had been more short, concise, and expanded more on the characters' motivations and thoughts

Started out strongly convincing and exciting, incredible performance by Chef Paul, to me he was and still is the main character. Although there were times when scenes started to drag, overall it still felt smooth and the story progression was light. Definitely worth the watch !

A dramatic and some what of a thrilling movie, romanticizing the idea of what it means to be a chef and what does mean to be someone or expect something in a world for more than what it is the real value. While the movie surrounds it's plot exploring that point of view, the message and the meaning is entangled in this humbled girl's life, were her expectations flourish making her realize what she had all the time was there everyday, all along.

Agree that the duration at 2h 20mins is too long but the film isn't bad like what most reviews here stated out to be. Honestly as an Asian myself I find Asian values & mindset while watching this film. In fact it relates a lot of how I view my whole life.
