Goose the dog is the only redeeming factor of this film. Hope Holly the dog actress got lots of treats for nailing her role.

Good one. It follows the classic construction and rhythm of horror movies, the monster is not seen much but not too bad, the atmosphere is pretty good. The first part, where nothing happens is actually very good too. A journalist follows people charged with keeping count of species in different zones in the forest. If there are enough species, the area can be protected. And this could have been its own movie, it is actually interesting and well presented. Once the monster is here, it's pretty common I guess, but well done. Two minor things. It's weird it didn't eat the dog. At the end the [spoiler]car rolls, and Grace being injured by the cable snapping[/spoiler] really felt like unnecessary bad luck, kinda out of of place.
