Interesting idea and well done. The dog was just great. But the movie, even though quite short, is also quite boring, with very little story. Watch for the novelty of it.
A complete and utter borefest. Avoid at all costs. Despite the short run time, it’s overly long. 1/10.
What a risk! They pulled it off. I kept wondering where this movie that was going that kept me interested. Hollywierd needs to take more risks like this.
I should’ve known better going into this movie. It sounded pretty cool despite the paranormal stuff. The dog Indy was certainly a good boy and very cute but the movie however was certainly not good. I’ll preface all of this by saying I absolutely hate any type of paranormal activity type of movies. I think they’re incredibly stupid and purely awful. This was basically a mix of ‘Paranormal Activity’ but with a dog. It had a unique perspective. The sound design was excellent. They also utilized some excellent camera angles and had some great camera shots. That’s about all this movie had going for it. I was so incredibly bored watching this crap. I’m obviously not the type of person this movie caters to. I’ve rarely if ever liked this type of genre. I can respect what they tried to do here and still hate the movie. I’m not here to disrespect anyone else’s opinion, this is just mine. Other people love the ghost/paranormal/possession type of movies but definitely not me. I’m glad I checked this out once and I’ll be happy to never watch it again. * Double Feature at AMC Crestwood 18
Good Boy was a pretty decent little watch that’s full of suspense and atmosphere, I wouldn’t like go that far to say it is an amazing movie but you know, I think for an incredibly short movie it did do its job very well at showing a cute little dogs perspective through a haunted house. I loved the idea of this movie so much and I just knew I would like this movie one way or another as I literally love anything which has never been done before. The dog, Indy was so damm cute and I think we all need an Indy in our life as he was so freaking adorable, he was also such a good actor and he is way better than most Hollywood actors these days, he’s getting my Oscar vote for sure. This was a very good little movie that I did like a lot overall but as I said before I wouldn’t say it is like anything totally amazing because it’s like so incredibly short, it’s still a ton of fun though. I’m giving Good Boy a very “good” 7.5 out of 10. 7.5/10
