In the world of shark movies this is Oscar level and easily in my top 5, in the real world it's a dumb TV level movie... but I don't know, I had a ton of fun with it. There's enough over-the-top shark action in here to keep me fully entertained, lots of bloody kills and the shark effects are top level in the shark genre (they do look poor when a shark jumps out of the water though). The underwater scenes look great. Killer slow-motion shot right before the title sequence at the beginning that sold me on the fun I was about to have for the rest of the runtime. The mayor character was a perfect villain, she was funny and easy to root against. The tone is my biggest criticism, it's all over the place, most of the time it takes itself very seriously and gets "scary" but then you get cheesy and comedic moments that I believe are unintended. I enjoyed both sides of the coin but I wish it picked a lane. The acting is nothing good but far superior to most shark movies. Terrible decision making from the characters and the plot is so dumb. All the wild shark action and the epic third act it delivers is enough to call it a decent watch though. This one's begging for a sequel and I kinda want to see it.

Like live octopus soup, there was too much I couldn't swallow for me to really enjoy this. The science of a shark living in a freshwater river capable of having babies without mating and evolving into a new species in a couple years was so bad I had the runs as if I'd drunk from the Seine. That said, I did enjoy the views of Paris, and the ending FAR exceeded my expectations. So, I'm up for a sequel is what I'm saying.

The group of eco warriors wanting to save the shark look exactly how you expect them to. That is one of the few accurate parts of this movie.

Seriously absolutely terrible unwatchable crap. Though I did watch through to the end somehow.

An enjoyable shark movie. Death and Mayhem as the sharks take over the River Seine in Paris. I can feel a sequel coming. 🤔:thumbsup_tone1:
