Handlung
Eine britische Raummission, zur Erforschung des Halleyschen Kometen, entdeckt in seinem Schweif ein geheimnisvolles Flugobjekt. An Bord finden sie die Leichen zweier unbekannter Männer und einer verführerisch-schönen Frau im Tiefschlaf. Sie beginnen mit der Bergung und lösen damit eine Katastrophe aus. Als das Raumschiff wieder auf der Erde landet, ist es ausgebrannt und die Besatzung bis auf Kommandant Carlsen tot. Die drei Passagiere stürzen als blutsaugende Aliens London in ein apokalyptisches Chaos. Carlsen nimmt als einziger Überlebender der Forschungsmission den Kampf gegen die Vernichtung der Menschheit auf - und gegen Mathilda May, die den Zuschauern als erotische und furchterregende Außerirdische den Atem raubt.

It's not a good movie. In fact it's a bad movie, but it's also great in its badness.

Overall, this is a mess, but it's a lovable mess. The practical effects are endearing and not the best, but they are fun. There are two reasons most people watch this, though, and they aren't Patrick Stewart or Steve Railsback.

**Part of my 2022 Sci-Fi Tuesdays** Just another rewatch of the BEST Naked Space Vampire gone Zombie Invasion flick ever made. It's always fun to see Peter Firth run around London to save it from the very naked, very hot, space vampire of Mathilda May. Lifeforce is still totally bonkers, and still a very entertaining two hours.

It is quite the sight to behold. A wild and gonzo ride, with some really great ideas at play. How it failed soo hard back in the day is beyond me, but I guess I can understand how the nudity can make some people uncomfortable. It's an unconventional sci-fi/horror flick, and for that alone it deserves to be seen.
