"We are the Wave" only characterizes its characters in stereotypes, which just makes everything boring. The characters are now all pulling together and want to make a political statement through protest action. Unfortunately, this attempt is just plain embarrassing and most of the action looks more like a bunch of little kids screaming for attention. The topics that are dealt with are very important, but could clearly be implemented more carefully and staged better. This series should not be allowed to be mentioned together with the film "Die Welle". The points are only for the idea, which, as everyone knows, was not even thought up...

Thought I'd give it a shot since it's only 6 episodes. The show is badly dubbed English from German. I might have liked it more if it was just subtitled. Watched half an hour of the first episode and just couldn't do more. I have so many other shows on my watch list to be watching something that does not spike my interest. Starting way to slow.
