Maharaja Lawak Mega 2018
Maharaja Lawak Mega 2018 is back featuring 14 contestants consisting of 12 groups (duos & trios) and 2 solo comedians. This year, the theme "Circus" was chosen as a montage selection. Astro's favorite serial reality show started airing on Astro Warna (Channel 132) and Astro Warna HD (Channel 124) from 2 November 2018 - 18 January 2019, every Friday at 10:00 pm. A surprise for the audience that starting on November 23, 2018, this show will start at 9:00 pm.
Week 1
Free theme. Shiro was selected Man of the Match. No elimination.
Week 2
Free theme. Taman selected Man of the Match. Hilmy Ashley and 2B were eliminated.
Week 3
Theme was "Love". Taman selected Man of the Match. Kiut was eliminated.
Week 4
Theme was "Vacation". Masin selected Man of the Match. Abata was eliminated.
Week 5
Theme was "Memories". Bocey was selected Man of the Match. Abioso was eliminated.
Week 6
Theme was "Musical Comedy". Joras selected Man of the Match. No elimination.
Week 7
Theme was "Accents & Dialects". Shiro was selected Man of the Match. Dany Beler was eliminated.
Week 8
Theme was "School Subjects (Vote)" namely History (Puteh), Science (Chilok), Mathematics (Joras), Geography (Bocey), English (Masin), Life Skills (Taman), Music (Zero), and Malay Literature (Shiro). Shiro was selected Man of the Match. Chilok was eliminated.
Week 9
Theme was "Karoot Komedia". Bocey was selected Man of the Match. Joras was eliminated.
Week 10
Themes were "Latest Trend" and "If Only I". Puteh selected Man of the Match. Masin was eliminated.
Week 11
Themes were "Money" and "Parody with guest artists" who were Mira Filzah (Zero), Fatin Afeefa (Taman), Maya Karin (Shiro), Hairul Azreen (Bocey), and Hamid Gurkha (Puteh). Bocey was selected Man of the Match. No elimination.
Final Week
Themes were free and "Musical". Shiro was selected Man of the Match. Shiro was crowned champion, Bocey in second place, and Zero in third place.
