In terms of information/content this is OK. Of course there are no eyewitnesses in a WWII docu today which is made up by naval experts and historians. That´s fine, too. I´ve never been a huge friend of reenactment documentarys and with almost a total lack of original footage this fully relies on it. And it´s not even made that well. And one other thing, I´m OK with low CGI, after all it just needs to give you a certain degree of detail. Would have been nice though if they had a few more different shots - f.e. they use one torpedo hit over and over again. So, worth watching ? Yes. But not that great in total.
