The [spoiler]D&D scene at the end[/spoiler] was everything I didn't know I needed tonight.

Dull and overly long finale for a meh season. It’s not bad, per se, but it feels like a letdown like most of season 5. I just expected more, I guess.

The Stranger Things finale is a stark reminder that taking a decade to tell a five-season story often does more harm than good. The actors visibly outgrew their characters, long gaps between seasons forced the show to re-tread the same emotional ground, and an ever-expanding cast stretched the narrative too thin. What began as a tightly focused, exceptional series gradually lost its momentum, with each season feeling more diluted than the last. Stranger Things was great at the start—but over time, it slowly crumbled under its own weight.
