I want to like the show but the inconsistency of power levels, the lack of character development, and the lack of exciting pacing make it really hard. It just feels like the love for the legacy of Dragonball is missing and they are just trying to create a generic kids show. It seems like they listed the characters and their character traits and now they are just trying to combine them somehow to force funny interaction or artificial tension between them.

I just really enjoy this for the nostalgic Dragon Ball Z feelings. A show I watched loads of times when I was young.

I don't believe that after more than a decade, that's what they came up with. The way they convey power for the characters is so lame. Not to mention that there is no pattern for power scale. Sometimes a super saiyan is stronger the a whole army, other times, weaker than a frog. Such lame show. People say that the last saga is where it gets good, but sincerely, I have no idea how they hold up to watch 100 episodes of this shit.
