I like the idea of the show, but the writers need to do better research (I'm looking at you, Brazil storyline), and some of the actors need to step up their game a bit.

A great premise to a series that very quickly fails to achieve it's potential. Season one is worth the watch but it quickly goes downhill. The writing is mediocre, the acting has it's flaws, Billy Burke (no matter how charismatic) is still Billy Burke, the pseudo-science and the apparent fact people don't know basic biology, situations that are unrealistic even for the subject matter ([spoiler] can you imagine all insects being against us? humanity would be done in a day, a gorilla that can't bash in a stupid elevator grate, etcetera [/spoiler]). I'm still gonna watch season 3 for completion's sake and I'm still entertained a bit but this could have been so much more. Edit: Upon finishing Season 3 I must disagree with most/many people that it was the worst season. Besides a couple of annoying writing errors I enjoyed Season 3 way more than the second one. It got a bit annoying that a certain person kept surviving and that we, ofcourse, will never know what would have happened in Season 4.

**MY THOUGHTS ON ZOO:** _**-WARNING: Spoilers Below-**_ Zoo is a solid Drama that has it's ups and downs. It's a fun watch that you can invest a little time into it so if you're wanting a show that can last a few days or a week or so depending on how quick you binge it then this is a good show to watch. I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons but I feel like as they hit the third season it became a shadow of it's former self and became a bit boring. The plot was all over the place and at times it made no sense. It was definitely a good watch though but the final season felt like a bit of a let down in comparison to the previous 2 seasons. I really liked the concept of the show and it shows how much power animals really have. At times they went a little on the unrealistic side but it was never too over the top and it never took you out of the immersion. One of my favourite scenes was when the Rhino ran into the side of the car, I have no idea why it's one of my favourite scenes, it's just something I always remember when I look back onto the show. If you're looking for a show that gives you a fresh take on an apocalyptic world then I definitely think you'll enjoy this. If you like shows about animals and you're a fan of dramas then once again I think you'll enjoy this. The only downfall I think the show has is that it gets a little slow at times and the pacing can be all over the place but I feel like it's worth dealing with that. **Overall rating: 7/10**

I really enjoyed the 1st and pretty much all of the 2nd season, but the 3rd season just made me angry because it got so stupid and aggevating.

Really loved this show. It's a shame there isn't a season four to wrap things up.
