[Movistar+] This story unfolds in a three-episode format that seems to adopt certain techniques from classic films, capitalizing on the everyday lives of the three kidnappers, caught up in the economic crisis stemming from the Franco regime in the early 1980s. There's a good recreation of that decade, but the series is also shrouded in an artificiality that is particularly noticeable in the character portrayals. Between the costumbrist comedy that is subtly reflected in the screenplays of Rafael Azcona and the social drama with touches of humanity, it fails to find the necessary balance to make it more than just an easily forgettable series.
