I know the point of it all is for them to be short stories but most of them felt a little too short. Episode 5 (Warhammer) is an absolute stand out and I need 8 more hours from it right fucking now.

Very well animated but the stories are lacklustre and too short. Should have been one story over 5/6 parts to make it worth while.

Not sure whose idea was it to start on easily the weakest episode. But around the third one it gets good. Especially the Warhammer one was great. Overall a decent series, even though the connection to some of the games is really weak. Update after the second part: Overall the second part was weaker. Still very pretty, but most of the stories felt bland. Especially the last episode was disappointing, i was just waiting the whole time for them to flash "Buy a PS5" as it felt more like a commercial. Best episodes (in my opinion): Warhammer 40 000, Unreal Tournament, Armored Core and Honor of Kings

This might have been THE most EXPENSIVE marketing campaign EVAH! Each episode is nothing but a marketing piece for a specific game. And the last episode sums it all up. Boy, oh boy.... [spoiler] It's all one big BIG marketing piece for Sony Playstation. [/spoiler] How doomed are we as a society when we start to turn marketing campaigns into series and SELL them as entertainment? :rofl:Wahahahahaha.... I have just been SOLD a marketing piece! I feel dumb and I'm laughing my a** off of myself. Sheesh. Wahahahahaha..... This deserves a solid 4. It... served its purpose? Anyways, well played, Amazon. Well played!

A show can look as good as possible, but without story and characters and full of cliches filling in for the limited time they need to fill it's hard to care about the flashy images on the screen. Same problem as Love+Death+Robots, Tim Miller trying too hard to look cool but having absolutely nothing to offer.
