The best 6 hours of tv 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥… I thought I had the whole plot line figured out but the plot twist in the end was amazing and unexpected 10/10

One word to describe this - tedious. By the last episode I really just wanted this to end rather than find out what is going on. I looked forward to watching this because of Marin Ireland but in the end she was really only in the background, although always stole the frame. The rest of it is really as if someone entered a prompt into some AI tool to shit out a "gritty True Detective-like" show. Well, maybe it works on some levels but something is missing at the core of it. I don't know what exactly as all the pieces are there... cast is good, acting fine, beautifully shot, the script is not the thickest one but also not the thinest... not sure, it doesn't have a heart?

On the positives: Amazing scenery, really beautifully shot. Good performances. Gritty, with a story that keeps you engaged, despite this being another small town mystery, it didn't feel boring. Does it have plot holes? Absolutely, many. Don't expect realism here. I feel like they could have done a lot more with all the characters because there wasn't a single character I didn't find interesting. The show could have benefited of more (9 or 10), or longer episodes because I have a lot of questions unanswered. The twist was unexpected for me but because the first half of the last episode was ridiculous, I had a feeling that it was maybe coming. I also didn't like how they made a certain character look like a caricature at the end when they could've explored so much more. But give it a go it was a fun binge
