How do you go from doing amazing marry my husband to subpar confidence queen. My least favorite work of hers

Confidence Queen is the South Korean version of Confidence Man (Japan). They even use the exact story lines from some of the episodes in the Japanese version. Some of the cons are outrageous but frankly if you fall for them, then you deserve to be conned. The 3 central characters are funny and brilliant. I feel for Gu-ho who is always picked on by Yi-rang and James (sibling vibes). All the cons have a Yi-rang motive which leads to the final con and the showdown in the last episode. It looks like there will be a 2nd season which will be interesting to see how they move on from such an exhausting 5yr revenge plan in the 1st season.

O Dorama apresenta uma protagonista “inteligente”, mas na prática, boa parte dos golpes depende mais da sorte do que de estratégia, qualquer um deles poderia facilmente ter dado errado. A comédia é bem exagerada, e em alguns momentos chega até ao ridículo. O vilão principal também merecia mais destaque; acho que a história precisava de alguns episódios extras para explorá-lo melhor. Mesmo não sendo um dorama voltado para o romance, ficou bem claro que o Gun Ho gostava da Yi Ram, mas isso acabou sendo deixado de lado. No fim, é um bom drama para se divertir e passar o tempo, sem grandes pretensões.
