Goes for that slow-burn mystery tone, and for a while it works. You get bits and pieces, characters, secrets, something clearly off, and it keeps you curious. But it stretches itself. Instead of tightening the story, it keeps adding layers that don’t always pay off, so the tension starts dropping in between. Neha Sharma stands out though. She fits the tone well, calm on the surface, something going on underneath, and you stay with her even when the show drifts. By the time things start coming together, you’re still interested, just not as invested as you were in the beginning.
