LOTS OF RANDOM SHIT THAT NEVER HAPPENED. This is a VERY Zionist-influenced retelling of the biblical story of Moses which FAR detracts from any proper academic understanding and a much more LIBERAL interpretation that is absolutely ridiculous. Watch it with a very critical mind. There's one or two Islamic scholars thrown into the mix to make it more "diverse" but even those Scholars are clearly very liberal as well (just look at the books they authored). The most telling ludicrous moment is when Moses is leaving Egypt and one Rabbi quotes a verse or passing that "If we had not left Egypt, we would still be slaves of Pharaoh." and then follows up by stating that "Oh No, we won't be slaves physically, only psychologically." Sheer arrogance and stupidity from a Rabbi. A lot of "Why would God do that?" "Why would God kill so many innocent people?" and doesn't answer any of those open questions. A lot of woman pandering as well, even though historically there was little to no explicit mention of women having any major role. Just lots and lots of pandering to get a VERY SPECIFIC message across. MOSES COMMANDS GOD "YOU WILL SPEAK TO ME!" As if a prophet can command The Creator. Ludicrous. Absolutely shit series. I'm not gonna blame the actors for taking the money but have some effing decency about your sources.

_Testament: The Story of Moses_ is a compelling biographical docudrama from Netflix. Christian, Jewish, and Muslim scholars discuss the story of Moses; from his prophetic birth to his exile in the desert to his calling to free the Hebrews from Pharaoh. Interviews with the scholars are mixed with dramatic recreations and narration. The quality of the acting varies but is pretty good overall, and the production values, costumes, sets, score, etc., are quite well-done. Additionally, the scholars do an impressive job at articulating their points; although it gets a little confusing at times as the Muslim scriptures differ from the Judeo-Christian ones. And unlike other documentaries, the focus is less on historical proofs and more on the intent of the scripture writers in presenting Moses’ story the way that they did. Well-crafted and insightful, _Testament: The Story of Moses_ is a comprehensive look at one of history’s most important religious figures.

I like this type of docudrama tv. This one is now taking us into this type of tv series can include any made-up story. I found it ridiculous the way the "experts " try to present this as fact. I would question the agenda this is pushing and where the funding came from.

The Midianites were Semitic, and aspects of the story are missing. so far it's DEI Bible.
