the show is just so so. because Dennis Quaid is a Trump supporter I have a difficult time watching anything with him in it.

It is edge of your seat, worthy all the way through with incredible plot, twist and character development. The lead actress does such a great job.

The series adopts a complex approach inspired by reality to construct a fiction in which the author creates her own alternate reality, as if she had actually contacted her father. Coming from the King family, this different perspective on the true crime genre is expected, but once the parallel investigation begins, it loses focus, never finding the balance between family trauma and conventional true crime. It remains in an undefined territory that ultimately renders it irrelevant, and it doesn't even develop the main character with any depth.
