This was my first time actually watching a BL horror, and I’m honestly surprised at how much I liked it. The cinematography is beautiful, but it’s the soundtrack that really gets to you—it builds this heavy, creepy atmosphere that kept me on edge. I loved how they used Thai culture and all the occult stuff throughout; it didn’t feel like a gimmick, but felt really grounded and authentic. A lot of that weight comes from the actors, too. They really deliver, especially in the more intense, ritualistic scenes where it could easily have felt over-the-top, but they keep it believable. You can really feel the tension between them, and they manage to make the connection between Khemjira and Phraya feel real even when everything around them is chaotic and supernatural. Even the visual effects, which can sometimes be hit or miss in these shows, were actually well done here. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the production because everything feels very intentional. It’s not just about cheap jump scares; the horror and the cultural parts actually make sense together and drive the whole story forward.
