This show is the equivalent of “he’s a red flag but I’m colorblind”. Side-note this show will try to convince you Atsuki Mashiko is not a beautiful man and that is just a lie.

I'm ready for the angst and intensity of season 2- bring it on!

Atsuki Mashiko and Kouhei Higuchi have such a strong and intense chemistry together. Even though their relationship has some difficult moments, the way they interact and use their body language is definitely the best part of the whole series. You can really feel the tension between them in every scene. The filming is also beautiful, with lots of elegant close-ups that create a really special atmosphere. I liked that the story stays focused on the two of them without too many side characters or distractions. Sometimes the lack of communication between them can feel a bit much, but it’s still a very engaging and memorable watch.

Oof. The jealousy and possessive behaviour and lack of consent really turned me off some parts of some episodes. Otherwise, much pretty and the friend is fun!
