A fun mix of spec ops war tactics, scifi, and bureaucracy

Anime adaptation with an interesting premise — human soldiers as disposable alien conscripts — that never develops its philosophical implications. Visually adequate, narratively thin. The concept deserved sharper writing.

Netflix has some great hits and then some misses and this one just missed the mark. I'm not one for CGI but I always give it a chance, but I had high expectations for the storyline, I enjoyed it initially but got a little boring at times, the action was fun but just didn't click 100%
