“Days with My Stepsister” is an underrated gem that stands out for its stunning visuals, beautiful music, and well-written characters. While the premise touches on a taboo subject, the story handles it with surprising subtlety and maturity, making it far less controversial than it might seem. The heartfelt character interactions and relatable moments create a warm, engaging experience that deserves more recognition. Definitely worth a watch for fans of slice-of-life drama!

This is the most boring show I have ever watched played at eight times the speed.

Currently EP7 and its boring AF, the dialogues are made of over complexing simple things to make it looks like the character are having an intellectual conversation but they are just milking it. in Some episodes they are talking 10 min about the same subject but with different words and without moving forwards , the conversations are EMPTY and DRY as HELL. Nice animation tho.

It’s clear that the show wants to tackle delicate themes: the psychological impact on children of a broken family, the lack of a support network, and other relevant issues. The messy, overlapping feelings of sibling bond versus romantic love work quite well for a good part of the anime, but by the end it already feels worn out. It’s visually beautiful and technically well made, but also very slow, and this pacing issue makes everything less engaging than it could be. Twelve episodes ended up feeling like far too much time for the story it wanted to tell.
