[Canneseries '23] Conceived as a technical effort that has been shot in one take sequences of between 5 and 15 minutes, edited as if it were only one take in each episode. The intention is to convey the tension experienced by the protagonists, although it doesn't fully take advantage of the proposal, with scenes too focused on one character that slow down the action. It brings a few doses of humor within an apocalyptic setting and has one of the most surprising cliffhangers I've seen in a long time, although it seems to be gradually losing impact.

Wow… what an amazing, somewhat-surprisingly compelling adventure! In the end, I actually loved this creation. I'm SO glad that I thought to switch to the original audio after experiencing disappointment with so much in episode 2: watching with the original audio magically disposed of all those UN-intended impressions of silliness and poor execution in this production and allowed the performances to be perceived as they actually were (usually quite impressively acted, and only unserious in the places and ways that were actually intended and entertaining). This show that I at one point felt was a drag to watch ended up being something I want more of. Such strongly unique and interesting characters. There is unexpected depth to be found here.

The one take gimmick is quite interesting in the beginning, but it doesn't have the same effect anymore towards the end. Some twists are also ridiculous.
