There is in the first episodes the feeling that the series tries to find the balance between comedy and the zombie genre, and sometimes it works. But the development ends up being repetitive and empty, and it conveys that feeling so common in this recent explosion of movie-based series that those stories don't need eight or ten hours to be told.
Perhaps if they had leaned on the comedy _and meant it,_ then it could have been good. As it is, you start off thinking that's what's happening but about halfway through that assessment is challenged at every turn. By the end I was at a loss trying to figure out if any part of it makes any sense.
I want to like this but at ep 6 I can no longer deny that it is pretty terrible.
1/10 Weak Sauce Piss-poor. One And Done and I should think so. Absolute Bull-shit from start to finish, speaking of they clearly wanted a second season but Opted to "End" it instead, It was the only way to Avoid being cancelled because that's what was coming next for this boring slow to a crawl appalling show. nothing worked in this show....nothing. Atrocious acting, Terrible characters, Piss-poor story which was nonexisten, None of the jokes landed, they should have left the Comedy Bull-shit well out of it, that alone made it all Unbearable, they never followed the Rules and they tried to rip every successful TV show and movie in this genre and failed miserably. This Shit-Show had no Business seeing the Light of day, Utter bollocks. Verdict: Epic Fail And the showrunners knew it that's why the ended it here and "Jumped before they we're Pushed". (good riddance to bad, really bad rubbish), Double thumbs down. "I would rather submit myself to a prostrate examination than sit through this steaming Pile of Shit ever again".
lets add music to everything, make it sound like a game ooo director: lets sell this show by looks instead of acting
