I started watching this series without knowing anything about it like I literally thought it would be a romantic drama... Either way I actually quite enjoyed the drama! The first episodes were kinda weird for me but it did catch my attention especially on ep 4. The last two episodes were for sure the best! I liked the message they were trying to send. The music, the cinematography and the effects were absolutely amazing! It does have an open ending with some unanswered questions but since I can't leave them unanswered I just answer them myself. Either way I really liked it!
What an interesting and at the same time somehow good and weird tv show. Enjoyed it, even though the episodes were slightly too long and the twist was a bit … well, unexpected. Did not expect it to turn into a crime drama. The songs were mediocre but did not hurt the show too much. Fun to watch and it ending naturally after only one season was a good choice.
There was never a dull moment, this was truly a magical Kdrama and I feel like there is just so much to learn from this as human beings.. if you watch it you will definitely notice that there are a lot of hidden messages so I recommend everyone to watch it. On top of that the cast is just top-tier it's no wonder it turned out a masterpiece. The production was also insane.. loyal to the webtoon. I just wish the ending
wasn't so ambiguous but the musical made up for it!
Ok I guess. Didn't expect the cast to really sing. that ending piece was also something I've never seen before in a drama. some points i want answer to:
- how Ri-eul does the magic - where he is now - how Il-deung doing after dropping out - closure to the romance??? - i mean what Ri-eul did to Baek Ha-na still counts as assault. Did he get punished?? - many more
Went into this knowing next to nothing about what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Balances the light and the dark themes efficiently and portrays the stigma around those that fail to meet society's standards pretty well. The acting is sublime (yay, Ji Chang Wook!) and the cinematography is out of this world. Do you believe in magic? Because after this one, I certainly do!
