The focus is, as always, on how terrible humans are, how monstrous, destructive, evil. Just an overwhelming sense of anxiety, dread and doom. Unwatchable with the family. Sadly, that's been the trend with recent "nature" documentaries.
Wow such a good tv show love it!
Insanely beautiful. The camerawork and cinematography is just so mindblowing. How they are able to capture such ethereal shots just baffles me. But that was probably the best thing about this, as well as the stories and messages. (Some of my favs: Siphonophore, Pearl Octopus, Desert Talks, Maned Wolf, Whales, Forest Bugs) It was like long, short stories that cut out the gold glaze. Also, it felt extremely prolonging and repetative. All in all, it was both insanely overwhelming and guttingly underwhelming, but i love David, love nature, and love animals, so it was an entertaining watch.
