Spotting Li Lo-yuan rehearsing dancing at the lake, Chang Ting-chien is deeply impressed by her beautiful aplomb. By dint of hard rehearsal, Lo-yuan eventually wins the recognition of Ya, who orders her to lead the other dancers in a performance to highlight the wedding ceremony. To seek peace with Tu Chi, Liu Shih offers the hand of his daughter Ying-chi to Tu Shen.
