After graduating from the Higher Experimental Workshops of V. Meyerhold in 1926, he worked at the Blue Blouse Theater (1926-1929), the Moscow Drama Theater (formerly. Korsha, 1929-1933), the Central Theater of the Red Army (1933-1936), in the theater named after Yermolova (1936-1939).
