Far better than I expected it to be, but that's not saying much. The production values are nothing special, & the story is utter fantasy, but the dialogue its decent, & the performances are actually--well--good.

I was going into this low budget 50s adventure horror hoping to get some campy fun. It's about one of the members of an archaeology expedition who's turned into a centuries old blood drinking mummy after opening an ancient tomb and kill the rest one by one by draining their blood. The film's not bad. It's mildly entertaining, mostly because it's a slightly different mummy than any I'd seen, but still as a whole it's disappointing. It's slow going with very little action and scares. It's only an hour but feels like forever and I keep waiting for something that never came. Having said that, there’s some decent atmosphere in here and the makeup and sets are pretty good too for its budget.
