Nowhere near as epic and cool as the first one but a fun redickulous watch..typical sequel mistakes include too much comedy and toned down violence but gott dayyum Grace Jones makes repeat viewings necessary..theres a lot of badass chicks in cinema from Ripley to Sarah Connor, Princess Leia etc but Zula up there boiiiiiiii...how you get a man again?? Grab him!. TAKE HIM! .. priceless

It's about as poor of a step back as you can take. This is what happens when you take a hard-edged, popular movie and water it down for a kiddie audience. It happened to RoboCop, it happened to Terminator, so I guess it had to happen to Conan...

Overshadowed by the first film, but looks great, with elaborate sets, great creature effects, and a wacky cast. Could have done without the annoying sidekick.

"A fine magician you are! Go back to juggling apples." Not as good as the original but still enjoyable. We get the return of the Camel Conan knocked out in the first one, we get more great cinematic shots, we do get a higher pace, more battles, I really dug how Dagoth looked. I read somewhere that Andre the Giant played Dagoth, now I know why he looked so huge. Seeing Mako return as Akiro was great and Grace Jones was the best I have ever seen her. Bit of a letdown we didn't get some sort of Skyhook from Wilt Chamberlain. Anyway if you have to watch a Conan movie the first one is still the best but this a decent sequel. I just enjoy seeing Arnold swing a sword around.

Can’t quite keep up with the original but is still a must watch for fans.
