The acting leaves a lot to be desired and the script is cliche at times, but I will always admire this movie because it introduced me to Michael Crichton for the first time, and that is one of the best doors ever opened.

Ive never read the book. But this is one of my top 10 movies. Its got a great cast lineup, a solid plot and the whole thing is just a ton of fun. Big, time travel fan over here. So this movie is awesome in my standards.
