One of the best video game adaptations of all time. It takes what is by far the best story in the sonic games, and manages to make it even better while being incredibly faithful to the source material. It even manages to recreate some of the most iconic moments from that game in a way that were unexpected but awesome. I really loved this movie. One of my favorite movies of the year!

Wet dream for Sonic Adventure 2 fans, and Jim Carrey is phenomenal (as always). But you need to either be a diehard Sonic fan or a kid to enjoy this in its entirety The movie has the fewest scenes with humans (minus the Robotniks) of any in the trilogy, which it benefits from tremendously. It works best when it's true to its source material, but there were some movie-specific aspects I really enjoyed Stay for the two post-credit scenes!

I mean, it’s probably the cheesiest movie I have ever seen, but man are the Sonic movies the perfect “joke around with your friends” kind of movies. Konichiwhaaaat???

I’ve liked the previous Sonic movies just fine. Each movie gets better as they go on and this is easily the funniest and best movie of the series. Jim Carrey steals the show (as always) and seeing him play two characters was hilarious and I would sometimes forget that I’m watching him in a dual role. I’m really glad that the superfluous human characters get much less screen time and that the movie focuses more on Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, the Robotniks, and Agent Stone. As much as I like Keanu Reeves he may not always be the greatest actor and some of his line delivery in the trailers had me a little worried but he was great in the movie and I wanted more Shadow. This movie is more action packed and the action is a lot of fun. I want to see this one again!
