Brilliant movie, definitely doesn't deserve such a low rating! I went in with low expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought the special effects would be awful but they were actually better than a lot of stuff in today's movies/tv!! Those end scenes were so suspenseful! Overall, not a bad flick! If you're a fan of The Invisible Man, you will love!

This film shows what happens when you give an the power of invisibility to an egotistic, perverted and arrogant man. This was scarier when I first watched it years ago, but still really entertaining on this rewatch. Kevin Bacon as usual gives it his all. I want to hate his character so bad, but Kevin is just too good.

The last about 1/3 of the movie just doesn’t make any sense.

The film had a lot of logical flaws, but it must be admitted that the effects were first-rate. For a 2000 film, they still hold up. Although it lost the Oscar in this regard to Gladiator.

When I read that the film was going, my interest was piqued, because who doesn't want to be invisible. I also thought it started off strong, nice late 90s early 2000s atmosphere. But then I found it really boring with a long and pointless fight towards the end. I had a completely different film in mind, maybe that's why my disappointment is a bit bigger.
