A Basic Instinct knockoff that arrived at the party two years late with nothing interesting to say. The identical twins twist tries to be clever but just ends up confusing. The mystery never builds real tension and the performances range from wooden to genuinely baffling. Robert Mitchum is the only reason to sit through any of it - late career, slower, but still carrying more presence than everyone else combined. He deserved considerably better material. Pure 90s B-grade erotic thriller. Nothing more, nothing less.
