❤x7 I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie. It turned out to be a pretty decent Christmas-style movie. This was essentially an "It's A Wonderful Life" on a train. Michael Sheen is really good here. He pops in and out of so many different versions of himself here and he plays each one of them very convincingly. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!

Reminded me of train journeys I have taken in the past. And also journeys i have taken in the future. A muddled film and not wholly successful but Michael Sheen is good and so is Cary Elwes, unrecognisable here in a surprise performance.

On the surface, this movie might seem like another xmas movie that was simply regurgitating themes done in other (better) movies before it. But then it seemed to go in an even bolder direction and actually caught my attention. The problem is that it is overly-long and loses steam towards the end. It's a Christmas movie, in the sense that it's set around Christmas. I don't think the plot was entirely on point, the ending doesn't seem very satisfactory, considering where we started. i.e. [spoiler]would you be happy if your life had all been loved for you? With no memory of it?[/spoiler] This doesn't require a re-watch.
