>Where's the town center? >In the middle. And the theater erupts with laughter. Clearly, my sense of humor deviates from that of the masses. Still, I find it hard to believe that anyone can really enjoy this attempted remake of _Welcome to the Sticks_ (_Bienvenue Chez les Ch'tis_) in Corsica. The film takes every derogatory stereotype of the French territory and throws it up on the screen, portraying the islanders as lazy, dangerous, spiteful, criminal, dim-witted terrorists. I wish the film was as cute as it thinks it is, because no one else will. The people of Corsica deserve better. I know I do.
