It's creepy, it's surreal, its Captivating, it's disturbing and many more things. Talking about Maria, I feel so bad about her. She just had a simple wish like everyone but instead received nothing but despair. This explains her scorn toward every human....Overall one of the best portrayel of a Witch I've ever scene in a movie....

I don't have words to express how much I liked this movie. The narrative, the imagery, just perfect.

I really love this movie! I love how skin walkers were portrayed in this film. I've never seen the concept before! Super great folk horror movie!

Unsure of which legend or folk tale this story represents, but it's quite intriguing so far and unlike anything before. Noomi Rapace's role is unparalleled in her performance in this film, unlike any other I've seen prior to this. The premise of the story is very different than I could have imagined in the way they've accomplished it, and it's a rather horrorific and juicy spectacle for the eyes. There is so much to learn from so many viewpoints and the constant feeling of how long you can make this one last. I had no idea that Alice Englert was in this film, and her role allowed her the most life yet experienced in the film.

Not for me, it's all atmosphere and no substance. Everything is close up, I'm not sure what the director was trying to create with this but the effect gave more of an impression that the locations were not suitable to show a wide shot, with the exception [spoiler] of the early cave scenes [/spoiler], than any sense of claustrophobia. Not even the presence of Noomi Rapace can save this dire effort, that's what I get for letting myself be led by the reviews here.
