WARNING: This is not a happy sing along movie with a perfect hero who saves the day in the end…this is also not "A Piece of Art." This is Riddick it's Muddy, Bloody, Painful and as always FUN!

This was closer to the original PITCH BLACK. It seems David Twohy abandoned the need for a big budget movie to tell his story. In this third instalment of the Riddick Chronicles he went back to a low budget (comparatively) production and grossed over 3 times the investment. This story had some slow bits but overall was good story telling. It was good to see Katie Sackhoff in the cast and Vin Diesel stays true to his course. All round good entertainment. I give this a 7.9 (very good) out of 10. [SciFi Action]

This could have been a really good film. Unfortunately all of the great elements are buried under forced connections to the other Riddick movies, terrible CGI, worse dialog, an overlong runtime, and poor characters. This could have been a great thriller where the main character is the antagonist, complete with a romp throughout an alien landscape amongst monsters, but it was destroyed by the aforementioned failings. #MovieReview

A combination of the two different type of movies before it but I was bored for most of it.
