Good animation very much in the style of cow and chick stroke.
really loved it and u get used to the art style
A perfectly pleasant little Christmas special. One of those things where you’d probably enjoy it less if you come in as too much of a fan and take it too seriously. Batman is basically Peter B Parker, and Damian similarly has very little in common with his source material and is a typical kid. And it hits a little of my pet peeve of Damian being the truest child because he’s the biological one. But I put that all aside, and it’s a well drawn and sweet special. Bat-Dad’s and Damian’s heart to motherboard actually tugged the heartstrings a bit, and I enjoyed Fanboy as Joker. It’s a little longer than it needs to be, but I think kids will have a good time with it, and that’s the most important thing.
What a pleasant surprise this movie was! It came out of left field and charmed the pants off of me. Single father Bruce Wayne forces Gotham to toe the line on law & order just to make sure nothing happens to baby Damian. This is a very light-hearted (and very meta) take on Batman ala Lego Batman. So go into this expecting to chuckle. Even so, there are some serious moments and a very somber underlying plotline about the relationship between a father and son. I'm glad I took a chance on this one. (I thought I recognized Luke Wilson, but I am ashamed I didn't pick up James Cromwell or Brian George.)
It was cute, funny at times, I liked the animation, and it had an interesting premise. Unfortunately, it went on way too long. This should've been a 45-minute TV special where Damian never leaves the mansion and it's a Home Alone rip-off. Would've been way better. Still nothing great, but far more enjoyable.
